Since ancient times, the site of Hautefort always attracted men of war. The name of the restaurant comes from the famous Troubadour Bertrand de Born, lord of Hautefort in the Middle Ages.
The Perigord is a country that first visit with the mouth. This is a so-called peasant cuisine but city dwellers want to become farmers to enjoy unceremoniously truffle omelette or fried foie gras accompanied by piping hot toast and a glass of Monbazillac.
What nature gave the Perigord, our restaurant
offers you:
Mushrooms and truffles, walnuts and chestnuts, foie gras and duck
fat.
The Troubadour is committed to what you end your plate not by hunger but not greed.
